I'm a writer, and one of my most important tools is observation. Observing--freezing a scene, then choosing which details to focus on or magnify--is also part of my process when I look at art or listen to music. I'm taking someone else's creation and filtering it through my own window. Whether a window is between me and the external world, or between me and my internal self, I am always creating the story.
In this series, I'm inviting other people to form a story from moments I've put on canvas. It's up to each person to decide where he or she is in relation to the windows...what lies within the view of the window and within themselves.
We all create our own stories.
